iPad 7th gen 10.2-inch Compatibility

Apple recently announced the new iPad 7th gen 10.2 inch in September. 

We are pleased to announce that our existing product for the Surface Mount 10.5 (70796, 70797, 70798) is already capable of working with the new iPad 10.2 inch. 

If you already have an existing Surface Mount 10.5 inch before Apple's announcement in September, it will work with the new iPad 10.2 with a minor modification. 

If you are installing an iPad 10.2 into a Surface Mount 10.5 

IPORT MODEL: 70796, 70797, or 70798

You will need to remove the Rubber Oval Pads on the Surface Mount Frame. This will allow for the iPad 10.2 inch to fit into the existing Surface Mount Frame.  

The remainder of the install is exactly the same as before.
