IPORT has release a new firmware update for all xPRESS keypads addressing communication issues for both Sonos S1 and Sonos S2 customers.
If you keypad is not communicating to your Sonos S1 or S2 devices, reconfiguring your xPRESS through the IPORT Connect App or perform a manual firmware update to your xPRESS if it is currently on your wireless network by following the steps below. IPORT also suggests updating your iOS on your iPads or iPhone to iOS 14.4.
To perform a Firmware update on your xPRESS keypad:
- First, fully charge your keypad to ensure there is enough battery life to perform a firmware update.
- Second, once the battery is fully charged, perform a manual Firmware update by holding the Play/Pause button along with the Volume Down button for 10 seconds until you see the purple flashing LED.
- Following the update, your xPRESS will blink white for a few seconds. At this time, test the keypad with the paired SONOS device.
At this point, your xPRESS is again functional with you're SONOS devices.
