• What application is CONNECT MOUNT best used for?
  • CONNECT Mount was designed to take a CONNECT Case and provide a permanent fixed mounting solution for iPad in multiple applications where an iPad can be mounted for a permanent installation.

• What iPads can I use with a CONNECT MOUNT?

  • The CONNECT Mount System will work with all current iPads Apple offers. For a complete list of Supported iPads and IPORT Products, please refer here: www.iportproducts.com/ipadcompatibility

• Can I remove the Case easily from the selected Mount?

  • No - CONNECT Mount is designed to be a Fixed permanent installation of iPads for a dedicated application. Check out our IPORT CONNECT PRO Case and Stations if you need a removable iPad solution.

• Does the CONNECT MOUNT come with any power options? 

  • Yes - The CONNECT SideMount and WallMount ship with the IPORT CONNECT PoE+ Network Adapter, providing Power and Hardwire Internet connection to the iPads when paired with a PoE+ Switch or the IPORT PoE+ Injector (72106).

• Can I get CONNECT Mount in white?

  • No - CONNECT Cases and Mounts are only available in black. CONNECT PRO is available in white, though.

• Is the CONNECT Mount a kit or sold individually? 

  • Individually - The CONNECT Mount Systems are sold individually. The CONNECT Mount System is designed to accommodate your specific iPad side needs, and as such, each system is sold individually as a separate case and the mount style you decide. To complete a system, you must order a Case and a Mount separately.

• Can I lock the iPad in the CONNECT Mount?

  • Yes - The CONNECT Case screws directly to the Mount, and then the iPad is inserted into the Case. After installing the Case Top, an integrated locking mechanism is designed to lock the Case halves together, providing a secure solution for iPads.
