How is CONNECT PRO Different from Launch?
The all new IPORT CONNECT PRO platform has been designed from the ground up using a new powerful conductive charging and communication system capable of supporting multiple power options like PoE+ and DC systems and has support for all modern iPads.
What iPads does CONNECT PRO Support?
- iPad Mini 4, 5th gen.
- iPad 10.2 7th – 8th
- iPad Air 4th gen, iPad Pro 11 - Inch
- iPad mini 6th gen.
- iPad Pro 12.9 - Inch 3rd - 6th gen.

How do I remove my CONNECT PRO Case?
Insert the IPORT Security tool into the top of the Case and slide the tool to the right to unlock the Case Top. If the lock does not move, use the Security tool to rotate the screw clockwise until it stops and slide the tool to the right toward the unlock icon. Once unlocked, pull the small sleeve top off the case and remove the iPad. For more assistance watch this short video (link to come).
Can I Still use the Microphone and Speakers in CONNECT PRO?
Yes, Connect Pro Cases are designed to still provide access to the iPads Speakers, Microphones, Volume and Power Buttons.
Does CONNECT PRO have any Security features?
Yes, CONNECT PRO Case has the ability to connect the Top and Bottom half of the Case together securing them with a lock at the top providing tamper resistance. The CONNECR PRO BaseStation features an integrated security foot to attach the BaseStation to a desk or table. An internal locking mechanism secures the Case to the BaseStation using the provided IPORT Security Tool.
Can I plug in my own charger while my iPad is in a CONNECT PRO Case?
No, the iPad would have to be removed from the CONNECT PRO Case to access the iPads Lightning Port. For more assistance in removing the iPad from the Case watch this short video.
What are the power requirements for CONNECT PRO?
Both the CONNECT PRO WallStation and BaseStation can be powered using 9-30VDC 1.5A or PoE+ 802.3at Switch or IPORT PoE+ Injector (72106).
Can I use a CONNECT PRO CASE on a Launch WallStation?
No, CONNECT PRO uses a conductive charging technology which is different from LaunchPort solution. If you would like to upgrade your LaunchPort system, the new CONNECT PRO WallStation is easily installed using the existing anchors and Power components of your LAUNCH WallStation.
Can I use a Launch Case on a CONNECT PRO WallStation or BaseStation?
No, CONNECT PRO Stations uses a conductive charging technology which is different from LaunchPort solution and will not physically fit the previous Launch Cases.
Is there a CONNECT PRO Case available for the iPad Pro 11 or 12.9 - Inch?

Can I use PoE+ to Power the CONNECT PRO WallStation or BaseStation?
Yes! The all-new electronics platform of CONNECT PRO allows for an optional upgrade to PoE+ by purchasing the PoE+ Upgrade Adapter (72109) along with using a PoE+ Switch or IPORT PoE+ Injector (72106).
How do I Clean my CONNECT PRO Case or Station?
The CONNECT PRO Case and Charging Stations can safely be cleaned with an alcohol pad, or other industrial grade cleaning solutions without affecting the paint color or soft touch finish.
Does the CONNECT PRO WallStation have a preconstruction bracket?
No, However you can easily use a US, UK or EU 1 gang electrical box and wire a single cat 5 or 6 cable to every location you desire a CONNECT WallStation.
Can I use CAT 5 or CAT 6 cable to connect my CONNECT PRO?
Yes, you can use either Cat 5 or Cat 6 Cable up to 300ft to plug in the provided 25V 1.5A DC Power supply that Ships with the CONNECT PRO WallStation or you can upgrade both CONNECT PRO BaseStation or WallStation to PoE+ by purchasing the PoE+ Upgrade Adapter (72109) along with using a PoE+ Switch or IPORT PoE+ Injector (72106).
How far can I wire my WallStation from a PoE+ Switch
The IPORT CONNECT Wallstation can be wired up 300 feet from a power source using Cat 5 or Cat 6 Wiring.
What PoE standard does the CONNECT PRO platform use?
The Connect Pro WallStation and BaseStation required an 802.3at (PoE+) Switch or Injector such as the IPORT PoE+ Injector (72106) sold separate.
How far can I run 2-wire and what gauge?
IPORT Recommends running Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable when possible. 14AWG 2 - conductor wire can be used up to 100 ft without substantial voltage drop over the wire if Cat 5 or Cat 6 cannot be used.
What is the CONNECT PRO warranty?
All CONNECT PRO products contain a one-year warranty from time of purchase. For full warranty terms, please read the warranty policy.
